SALT

Salt is a limited edition photography book captured and curated by Sophie Brockwell. Printed in a limited run of 100 and woven with poetry and prose by Rosie Dalton, Salt is a visual exploration of the ways that objects, environments, and bodies record presence — both fleeting and permanent.

Salt preserves and corrodes. It is in sweat and in tears. It is in the ocean and in the air. Salt can leave a crust on the skin or surfaces. It imprints. Salt is essential and it is elemental. Considered one of the fundamental alchemical substances, salt has traditionally been seen as a physical manifestation of the body and is thus believed to represent the felt experience.
